What Is A Trunk Or Treat?

A Trunk or Treat is a family friendly event where trick-or-treating is done from parked car to parked car in a local parking lot, often at a church, rather than walking through the neighborhood. The trunk of one's car is opened, displaying candy and often decorations. In addition to eliminating the long walks through the neighborhood, many parents see it as safer alternative for their children.
