Women of Faith (Women Only)

Living a life of balance is easier said than done. We try so hard to be everywhere at once, to be all things to all people, to our husbands, to our jobs, but before we know it, we're completely worn out and a life of balance seems virtually impossible. Living a Life of Balance will encourage women to slow down and take a closer look at how they are living their life. It will offer the guidance, hope and rest women are searching for in their busy lives. This class meets in room 207 of the Education Building.

Intentional Choices (All Ages)

Every day, we are challenged to make the right choice: in our behavior, in our words, even in our emotions. Each week in this class, we will address a specific challenge that may come before us and work to understand the intentional choices we should make as Christians. Based on Lifeway study guides, this class uses a group discussion format to explore not just the meaning of God’s Word, but also to understand how we can apply it in our daily walk.

New Covenant (Single or Married - All Ages)

The New Covenant Class uses the Lifeway "Explore The Bible" Quarterly Lessons. Lessons are taught using a combination of lecture presentation and class discussion. We strive to apply the Biblical lessons to real-life issues and situations. Growing in the Lord, developing strong Christian relationships, and ministering to others are important objectives of this class. - Currently studying the Book of Romans.

Disciplemakers

We focus on the expository teaching and discussion of the word of God. We study the books of the Bible alternating between OT and NT. Our goal is to determine what God's Word meant to the original audience and from that determine what it says to us today. We are comprised of both singles and couples in our late 20's to 40's, but are not limited to that age group. Beginning in March 2011, we will begin studying the book of Acts.

Teacher: Brad Evers

Dorcas (Open to Women of any Age)

We follow the Lifeway curriculum and enjoy open discussion. We pray for our members and issues/challenges facing our church family, and we discuss any outreach projects we can become involved in. We focus on building relationships within our group through various social events held during the year.

Teacher: Dottie Dean

Olivette Byrd (For Women ages 45+)

Our primary purpose is to evangelize the lost and disciple believers through our lessons. We follow the Lifeway Explore the Bible curriculum. Since we are commanded to bear one another's' burdens, we also share the needs of class members, their families, and friends so that we can more effectively pray for and minister to needs in our group and broader community.
