Thank you for your interest and willingness to assist the Good Hope Baptist Church Ministry as a volunteer. There are plenty of ways you can use the talents that God gave you to help Good Hope operate, grow and prosper. The list below contains some specific volunteer positions that we need filled as soon as possible. You'll find all the info you need, as well as a contact person to help get you started. If you have an idea or talent not listed here, feel free to contact us and we will try to put you in contact with the right ministry leader. Volunteer Opportunties:
Pre-K & K Worship Team
- Serves on a 1 month on 2 months off rotation
- Helps with small group time
- Sits among children to encourage participation and helping maintain focus
- Helps with set-up, attendance, seating, and other logistics
Big City Studio Crowd Control
- Serves once a month in Big City Studio
- Sits among children in Big City Studio encouraging participation and helping maintain focus
- Helps with attendance, seating, other logistics for Big City Studio

Wednesday Night Babies Teacher Rotation
- This person is responsible for providing a loving, safe environment for 0-12 month olds on Wednesday evenings
- This person will serve on a rotation once a month.

Sunday School Teacher (9:00 AM)
Preparing and leading Sunday School lesson for children
Classes for: Pre-K, 1-2 Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th & 5th Grade

Participation in teacher training as provided

Sunday 10:30 Nursery Team
Serve in classes with children age birth-3 years old. This person will serve once a month on a rotating basis during the 10:30 service.
They are responsible for caring for children, providing a loving environment, and following children’s ministry guidelines.
A background check is required to serve in this role.

Wednesday Night 1-2 year Old Leader
- This person is responsible for providing a loving and safe environment for 1-2 year olds on Wednesday evenings.

Video Team Projectionist
- Assist in various duties related to the creation, management and of on screen visual presentations for our adult, teen and childrens program.
- Various positions needed on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings on a once or twice a month rotation.
- Basic computer skills required.

Youth Hall A/V Technician
- If you are electronically-inclined, if you enjoy being on the production side of Bible teaching, leading in worship, and inspiring faithfulness, if you understand acoustics (if you think you have an ear for sound), and if you would be available for Wednesday Night Youth Bible Study and possibly a few other youth events, we have opportunities for you to “plug in”!!!
- Our array of electronics in the Youth Hall is nothing but expensive decorations without you to help operate and develop its’ potential.
- Basic computer skills required.
